The Bush DAC90A, introduced in February 1950, is an iconic post-war British valve radio known for its compact, stylish Bakelite cabinet and reliable performance. As a successor to the 1946 DAC90, it featured updated Rimlock valves and a redesigned chassis, becoming one of the most popular and collectible vintage sets in the UK.

Sympathetically restored the original MW / LW valve based receiver technology has been disconnected and appropriate bluetooth board added.

With an illuminated tuning glass and still making use of the on/off switch and the original speaker, with it's soft deep tone this is truly a talking piece as well as a slice of history

There is a slight scratch on this particular example, on one side of the case as can be seen in the photos

We do try to source the highest quality original radio donors that we can find to convert but, bearing in mind, some of these radios are nearly 70 years old, please do not expect these items to be in 'fresh out the box' condition. We refurbish within the limitations of the original radio condition and will always be honest and up front about any minor damage which may have occurred it's lifetime.
